keeping interesting and sparkly things in view is a must. sometimes you can walk around your house, inner or outer, not realizing that things have gotten, well, rather dull, or possibly even dangerous to exist excitingly in.

so, well, i have decided to create some things to help me and possibly others fix this: i've started something with a friend called 'injections of greatness' where we send eachother lyric quotes that blow our minds. this keeps us fresh, and gives each day a zing: something to look forward to. i think every day needs to be petted and appreciated and all of the really good stuff coaxed out of it. the really good stuff doesn't just come. in fact, a lot of very very bad stuff will come quite readily, so i figure, go ahead, beat it to the punch and conjure up some goodness.
and so, the idea behind this blog, and it's related merchandise* is to share some wisdom, beauty, diversions from chaos, both public and private.

you may come here each day to find quotes from b list celebrities, stumble upon lists of people who need to kick other people's asses, the aforementioned uplifting or perplexing lyrics, artwork, indie crafts, pictures of things that make you (well maybe only me) happy because they are so gorgeous or funny or amazing, and other random tidbits to inspire and confuse.

and, as you might add something wonderfully beautiful, original and quirky to your home, (you may actually do that here in the near future, with artwork and crafts offered) think of this as adding some beauty to your day. amen.
